Daily THOUGHT #84 "State of the Union Address (MY WAY)!!!"

"Have the courage to stand before even the most prestigious of people and advise them in ways of change...If indeed it is for the better. Stand firm on your beliefs regardless what man says..."

Hello there everyone! How are you this fine Tuesday? I am well, seeing that I am alive...that's about it though. I wanna get back in school, but financially I don't know if that is going to be feasible at the moment, well at least not where I want to go. The school system I currently work for has been sending my money to the wrong account. I've been waiting on something in the mail for about two weeks now, it still isn't here and the sender has no idea what could have happened to it. This Alabama judicial system has about pinched my last nerve and just my plans in general are not coming together as swiftly as I anticipated. I know that this is a life test for me, as well I know that things will soon get better, but I mean goodness...When is enough enough?

I guess that's why it was so easy for me to decide what I wanted to blog about today. I have began to space my posts out, in attempt to present a more detailed topic of discussion each time that I write. If you have not taken the time to read the previous blogs, I suggest that you do so. I guarantee that you will find something that will be life changing for you, but don't just take my word for it. Experience the manifestation for yourself. Today I will do my best to bring forth various issues that are causing turmoil for our international society and ways we should attempt to improve.

The term union has so many different meanings and interpretations...Some include the foe of the Confederacy, a recreational site on a collegiate campus, sexual intercourse, a relief for the poor in Great Britain or simply known as the act of uniting. Today in the "State of the Union Address (MY WAY)!!!" I want to tackle issues that alter the union of civilization. There is so much that distracts us from doing what we need to do. How do we overcome this? How do we prevent this from cycling? Is it possible to avoid the negativity?

To all nations I challenge you to be selfless enough to understand the foundational development of your peers and neighboring siblings, whether they be minutes, hours or even days away. "Friends will never thoroughly understand one another until they have evaluated and realized the background of that particular individual of which they socialize with." A man that wishes to pursue a woman will need to know the developmental cycle of that species if he wishes to be successful. If he doesn't know the things that make a woman tick or if he doesn't pay attention to the little things that make the woman smile, his experience will not end in his anticipated results.

Overtime woman has sought after independence where man has sought after the chance to provide and lead. Society however has revamped these efforts with technology, marketing, political scheming, judicial ideologies and just the lack of love from person to person in general. Why is this? Will we ever see the days again where people can leave there front doors open in none gated communities? Will we ever see the days where police officers don't have to be stationed in the public school again? Will we ever see the day where the judicial system focuses on the harm of things done against people and to neighborhoods versus a judicial system that focuses on out dated written documents to govern a modernized people? How long will we have to wait for the perfect person? Do we stand a chance in seeing another 100 years as a population?

Easily said, the choice is all up to us. Amazingly I watched an episode of Family Guy last night that was set in 1984. Peter asked Death if he could go back in time when he was 18 and when he did, he was able to appear to others as the Peter of that time, but mentally and physically for himself he was the present day individual. While back in time, he did somethings different from that which he did back then. With this alteration, when he returned to present day, he was no longer married to Lois and Al Gore was President. Of course you know Family Guy used this chance to tell how differently things would have been and how much better our society and the world as a whole would be now had Gore been elected. People make the difference. Peter was granted the opportunity to go back to 1984 again and re-right the wrongs he had committed. Because of his human nature it took him several times to do what he needed to do, only ending in violence because he screwed up so often. Sounds like us today huh?

My fellow citizens if I could go back in time, I would go all the way back to Adam and Eve, at the moment when Eve was approached by the serpent. I would have advised her to think differently and left. How do you think the world would be now...You think we'd view our friends and enemies the way we do? Would poverty even exist? Would someone have came a long later and still screwed things up again? We don't know but again, we do know that now it is up to us!

Until we have a strong enough judicial system to stand against violence, robberies and murders the same way they exert all possible energy to stand against traffic tickets, marijuana possession and our own personal living patterns, we will continue to suffer in the streets which will climax with suffering in the household. I challenge officers and judges to stand for something more than a quota! My last post broke down exactly how a school should be ran. There is no reason for police security to be in a public educational facility. I challenge students to have self-discipline and conduct themselves in orderly, productive manners. We all know that the perfect person does not exist...but all people can be respectful. "When you are able to give respect even to your adapted enemy, you are truly in route of the perfect heart!"

Keep that last quote close to you and you will go far! We each have ways that we can adjust to make the overall picture better, let's do it. Be sure that you tune in tonight 9/8central to any major network as President Obama gives the annual "State of the Union Address". Whether you are a supporter or not, you need to be aware of what's going on in the country as well...You need to know his plan to move forward. Will he attack GOP candidates tonight? Will he stick to the current issues at hand? Will he finally put Congress in their place? A lot has to go on tonight.  This is an election year. Let's make our voice heard so that we will be better on track to improve the conditions that we live in. Speak to someone you don't know. Peace...

Sunday Reflection #11 "OVERWHELMING SIGNS! (HE MAKES NO MISTAKES)"

"Indeed the artist can entertain an eliminate the gold-digger. The artist as well, can destroy the politician...But the artist is nothing without the people..."

I can honestly say that there is a lot going on in the world today and we are receiving so many signs. I wonder are we paying attention? Today I want to touch basis with various methods God will use to speak to us. When this happens, we must ensure that we are ready to take notes. These notes will be thesis statements to the term papers we call life. What will you write as your script?

There are several things in life that I like to avoid, such as  nagging, excessive arguing, causing scenes, being disrespected and so forth...but in order to understand where these notions of character are developed, I watch TV shows that display this or involve myself in situations that will force me to adapt. I will be using U.S. football to illustrate the Sunday Reflection today. Regardless of what your take is on this American style of the game, you want to examine the amazing way our creator will speak to us.

This weekend has indeed been rather interesting. I have been amazed by my daily experiences in the work place, the week leading up to it, as well my social encounters with family and friends...and of course the general interaction of the common everyday passing by of people. "When you take time to focus you will actually, rather easily, observe every single thing that is going on around you. With this ability you can create the atmosphere which you wish to dwell in." There are so many roles that must be looked at when making things in life function. "Whether it be family, scholastic or occupational related every individual plays a role that adds to the overall puzzle, of which we each are connected."

It really upset me today to learn of the death of Joe Paterno. Without going into deep detail of his resume, because I believe you should do some research on your own, just know that he is the winning-est coach in collegiate football history. I believe that it most upset me because of the reason I feel he died. Sure enough he was suffering from lung cancer, something he was diagnosed with shortly after being fired from his 60 plus year place of employment...but I believe he just got tired. With all the drama developing around the legacy of his tenure and the fact that he was pulled away from football, the one thing that gave him life, he could take no more. It baffles me how just weeks ago the media was bashing him for being tied into the scandals that took place at Penn State. Now, since he's dead you wanna talk good about him. People!

Recap time...let's look at what we read and compare what we know. Pennsylvania plays a very important role in American politics, it's the origin. This is where we laid the foundation to our judicial system and the guideline was set on how we would govern the masses. "Was this indeed something that was designed to be beneficial to the people...or just designed by people who were in search of benefits?" Regardless of the intent, the outcome is up to us! When we realize this, progression will come naturally for us. In Joe Paterno's 3rd season as head coach at Penn State he completed his 2nd consecutive undefeated season. Now back then the National Title was awarded by the President before any bowl game was played. Nixon picked Texas, who had previously lost to Penn State. Typical scandal...(let that sink in...)

Have you taken time to realize that it's a Presidential election year? Well, we'll come back to that... Let's take a look at the "Final 4" of the NFL. Representing my preferred conference, the NFC, you have the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Giants. From the AFC you have the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens. This is very ironic seeing that it's 2012. Let's have another recap moment. Where was that place years ago, early Americans wished to journey to for gold? California right? And those people were called 49ers. When you think of New York, the term Giant says it all...from entertainment, to athletics to American history, the Statue of Liberty is there. Society has it's way of moving people from one place to another, at times not for good but at some point there is the unimagined success moment. Sounds like the Cleveland Browns turned Baltimore Ravens to me...How interesting they will be facing the New England Patriots a team that originally wore red, white and blue...now wearing red, silver and blue. Where is patriotism today? Who was it designed for?

Now not to say that any of these ball clubs individually represent the comparison I just made...but do keep in mind we need to recognize the foundational development of our society. Originally you have the Patriots who fought for freedom and developed documents that would create equality for the land, but have we lost sight of that? When we got settled, we got greedy. Knowing that gold would have deep value we began to do any and everything to get it...a materialistic matter. Lives were less important because of the 49er movement. Then we discovered as a people what we could do well, simply with our talents. We learned to become Giants fiscally and in popularity...but too much of something can tear you away from the necessities of life, this will bring tragic turmoil. That leaves the Raven, an animal observed as a figure of God in Siberia and parts of Asia. Formally just a Cleveland Brown (no offense), but now a one time Super Bowl Champion (should look up who they beat), in search of another opportunity. When you restart in life there are other opportunities. 

I believe Joe Paterno died because he felt there was no more opportunity. He was stripped from his position and he lost hope and will power. We can not do that as a people. His first opportunity to win a BCS title game as head coach at Penn State came against the #2 ranked University of Alabama. Penn State lost. Amazingly he died short after Alabama won the title being ranked #2. Last year, the Packers beat the Steelers in the stadium of America's team, the Dallas Cowboys. People who get government cheese can be just as successful as the man who runs the industry. You just gotta know what you are doing!

So many people play roles in making things work. At a school you need a principal that has a vision, knows all regulations and listens well. You need assistant principals who can implement programs, tend to the needs of the staff and students and keep close touch of records. You need teachers who will mold students and communicate with parents. You need staff members who will keep the facility and personnel functioning. And finally you need concerned parents. When all of this happens you will have the star pupil. Recognize your role and embrace the roles of others.Start paying attention to the people that are trying to run your country. Might run into a gold-digger, egoist, manipulator, entertainer or a people person right for the job. Make your voice matter! Don't wait for approval and remember...Never let man determine when it's the end for you. Walk strong in faith and believe that your purpose is greater than any obstacle that is before you. Be a lasting impression on the lives of others. Have a great week Be blessed. Speak to someone you don't know. Peace...

Daily THOUGHT #83 "Shall We Overcome?"

You know when you think and wait, things really do come to pass. I wonder why when we think and act, those same things get all messed up? This is something that has been challenging the character of our people for so long. Regardless of what race or religions you represent, the pathways of your current doctrines have withstood several situations to create concrete instructions. These instructions would be the examples that would guide our nations to prosperity and opportunity, supposedly.

I think back to the original days of our American civilization. Several colonies wondered over to a new land, only to find out things were not as peachy as expected...growing ill and low of supplies would indeed create desire for assistance. Who would help I wonder? The people who were already here of course. With this foundation, each people were able to give there abilities and work alongside one another. But we all know the worst drug of them all, greed, would have nothing like this to happen. 

"Sometimes in life, we all must grab hold to a dream...this being the only way everyone would gain from its manifestation!"

How are you'll doing today? I'm fine...I guess I'm just reflecting on this Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday a little more intensely this year. Especially with the way things are going on in society. I'm tired of the people abusing the voice. We have the power and ability to speak about anything that the world has to offer, yet we choose to speak when it is for individual praise, intended harm or general gossip...while remaining silent when time to represent cause, evolution and justice. I have great concern for our future generations that will have to lead amongst a people that will soon feel no regards for standards in human regulations.

Time passes by so swiftly, that at times we forget to take note of things that happen and appear. We forget the importance of calendar systems and we show no regards to our tasks of retaining one another in conversation, reflection and meditation. You should not fear your ability to elevate your mind and inner understandings of your surroundings. Sit down one day, think of something important to you, close your eyes and take deep breaths. (that's the blog description just email me or leave your email for details). By connecting with the true connection anything is possible to recognize.

Shall we really overcome? I mean... Will any of us ever get the picture of what happened during the various movements of our civilization? I pray so, because the living conditions and mannerisms of the citizen community are getting ridiculous. These habitual patters are causing much discomfort in the hearts of our people, forcing them to retaliate in barbaric forms and methods. No one indeed enters society with ill proper motives. The trigger may be implanted genetically, but it must be embraced consistently to even have effect.

It's gotten so bad out here now and teachers are having to catch it the most. Not because they are not capable of doing their jobs, but because they are having to do their jobs and every other persons job as well. And unless you are some type of jack of all trades, that may be difficult for someone. A Black man was able to stand up and say something to the world in a nation of White supremacists, some of these even wanting him dead...but because of peace, they could find no reason. Brother Martin just needed a little more time.

If our people would have continued to walk peacefully, even after the assassination, I believe our country would be far better off now...guess will never get away from that eye for an eye mentality. It would take all day to explain that, but many of you get the drift. When things will involve lots of people, we must think collectively. The more chief like ambitions that are discussed, the more opportunities for failure are created. When methods are showing signs of progression, find ways to advance them. Don't allow position or tempting desire persuade you to disconnect from your source.

We can overcome...If we learn to pay attention and listen a little bit more. We would overcome if we tapped in a little more to equality components. We will overcome when we allow our individual gifts to emerge with the gifts of others and uplift society. We shall overcome when we recognize that we are all brothers and sisters...with this we will question our actions before they occur, knowing how siblings would handle that particular situation. In life we will be misguided and misled, we just have to know when to be humble enough to admit and remove.

Daily THOUGHT #82 "Crucial Baby Steps"

"Tuning in to Life's Channel...The only way to properly understand how Life Works"

Man am I happy that I made it into the house before the sky just decided to fall out from above. It's looking really bad outside in Huntsville, AL right now, the power is even out in some areas, but I guess this is good writing weather so here I go. How are you today? I am doing okay. As friend of mine once said, it's a good okay, so don't be too worried. There are just a lot of approaching deadlines that I have on my plate and I want to make sure that I get everything done in a timely and professional manner. That is why today we will be discussing "Crucial Baby Steps".

It is very important in life that we dream enormously. This means, that yes...that wild and crazy THOUGHT that came to your mind, you know the one everybody else would definitely say is not possible...Yea that one, you need to have multiple visions like that and have a strong belief that it will too come to past. Many times, people go shopping and see these remarkable makes and clothing designs, but are not properly equipped to purchase what they want. Now for some this matters not, because there will be times in life regardless of how much money they don't have or how many prior responsibilities they were committed to... They will still get something which they feel they just must have. This is when one must develop self discipline.

Why shouldn't you have the luxurious things in life? Why shouldn't you be able to travel anywhere in the world? Why should you even care? Everything that was put here on this earth is in our dominion and because of that there will be something that we find substance in. All over the world there are people that think, act and imagine like you. Although they may look completely different, the similar characteristic traits are undeniable. "Eventually our people will begin to judge a book by it's pages..." I often wonder who I have passed by or neglected in my life that would have been that great friend, listener and understander?

"I personally believe that things continue to remain out of our reach, simply because there is never a concrete process of making things happen!" Say for instance you want to save your money to get a new laptop. Based on your salary, bills and required expenses it will take you about 4 months to get it...But in that 4 month span, 3 of your favorite movies come out, 2 of your favorite artists release new albums, your top chosen clothing line releases a new season of wear, and oh yea that unexpected weekend voyage somewhere out of town comes up too and you know you can't leave your friends hanging... Well now you have created a bind. You will miss your deadline of trying to get the laptop, but more importantly what else will you have thrown out or reeled into your life, simply because you couldn't keep focus? This is something to seriously think about.

No one said that after crawling you have to walk... Who cares? If you can figure out how to run, just from crawling, then go right ahead. But regardless of who you are, you will begin your Earthly journey crawling everywhere you got to go, unless you are fortunate enough to be picked up of course... and who would want to be picked up their entire life? Exactly... "We all think and develop differently, but when we are able to reflect and progress with origin mentalities, success is very near!" How close are you to the basics? Do you feel success around the corner? Or are you too busy taking off shoes that fit?

As you go forth with your many aspirations, realize that anything is indeed possible. Also recognize that you will have to develop a plan of sequence. You need a point A and a time to get there and then the same for points B- whatever. Set a long term goal of what you want to do and then fill in the blanks. The best thing to do is become very open minded with the fill in the blank space, because the world has a very unique way of teaching us how to do things, who to associate with and what things to pursue. When you learn how to listen and evaluate, all things in life will be very simple. But until then, you will struggle...Trust!

The choice is yours, what you want to see and do, so make things happen. Think huge, but take your time and truly embrace each and every single one of those "Crucial Baby Steps" as you reach your life destinations. It's the middle of the week, so you know what I always tell you... Think back on what has happened thus far and prepare for the weekend. Speak to someone you don't know! Peace...

Daily THOUGHT #81 "Maintaining Mysterious Ways"

Greetings Fellow Viewers! I am indeed honored that you stopped by to share a little bit of my THOUGHT process. I hope that you will become empowered and truly receive something from the messages, but enough with all the mushy stuff =^ ) Its a new week, so let's make sure that we have things in proper order and when the time becomes relevant be ready and prepared for action! “It’s a bit foggy in the land, but don’t let natures fatigue confuse your pathway.”

I want to discuss with you all today a very interesting topic entitled “Maintaining Mysterious Ways”. As I was trying to decide how I would display the 81^st Daily THOUGHT, I was being assisted in my quest just by simply watching TV and walking around my people. Now please don’t get me confused and believe that I am referring to Blacks alone when I say my people…I am including every single race there is known to man. “Some days people need to see the world like the blind man! Maybe then we would be able to embrace one another without the physical attributes and notions being the initial perception…”

It amazes me how so many people will take bad things that happen and then try and blame God saying he works in mysterious ways, where in actuality…that’s only true, that he works in mysterious ways, when good things are done. This is when he truly is working...when things are for the good. Everything that is in the bad comes from us chosen to do whatever it is that we want to do and our influence from outside parties whether they be spiritual or physical.

We as humans become so predictable with our mannerisms and don’t even realize it. It will happen with things as simple as going to the same gas station every time that you go to fill up or get your extra necessities, ordering the exact same thing every time you go to your favorite restaurant and sometimes even to the point where you say the same thing in every bad situation, causing some form of hindrance that you will eventually wish you would have avoided. These mysterious habits are the things that we maintain.

As I was walking towards a building today there was a young women, of a different race, that was slightly ahead of me. As she walked to one entrance, she discovered that it was locked, so she turned around and pursued another entrance. As I approached the same entrance, “not knowing” of what had just happened prior to my arrival, I too discovered that the door was locked. Now did this woman see that I was headed to the same place? Did she pass by me in enough time where she could have warned me? Did she look right at me and keep walking? Yes, yes and yes! This may be a mysterious pattern that she has and doesn’t even realize it. Who knows? Or maybe she was racist…or she could’ve just felt that, um you just saw me not be able to get in, sooooooo what’s different bout you from me?

In this situation both parties had the opportunity to initiate conversation or simply attempt to implement an idea, which would have solved the simple problem of lacking communication. “Simply because we don not open our mouths, things do not become to reality.” If you don’t know, I am here to tell you the tongue is indeed the most powerful instrument on the body. As I got on the elevator in the building I began to engage in a conversation with another young lady, same race, and because of that when I got off the elevator someone else randomly spoke to me. Should I have let the idea that the first women just passing me by stop me from asking her was the door locked? No…but because of that who knows what I missed and who knows what she missed? We don’t, because we were not prepared.
As we continue to go about our daily walks of life, break away from the shell covered image of living that society has developed for us to dwell in. Over the years we have pulled so far away from the THOUGHT of including others in our life and now we as a people are beginning to pay for it. We have pulled away from allowing dreams and visions to lead the progress of our international nation. Personal agendas have overshadowed the true foundational elements of mankind. From the very beginning of time we still suffer, but the choice just as then is ours.

Each of us probably do some things that we consider to be really neat and cool…whereas one of our friends may only tolerate it simply because of how close the two of you are. Regardless of how anyone else may feel, that mysterious way of behaving is yours and yours alone. Good and bad is simple. If it’s meant for the manifestation of the will of God then yes, it is good….but if it is anything different then it is not good!  Make wise decisions, and things you need to get rid of, get rid of them. Then, create a mystique about yourself which will have others “Maintaining Mysterious Ways” that you established. Have a great week people. Think positive. Speak to someone you don’t know! Peace…

Sunday Reflection #10 "NO IDEA HOW TO GET THERE"

Man I would love to be the leading culinary artist in the United States, but with the consistent increase of scholastic tuition, especially for out of state students, I don't know how I would be able to afford it. Some of the best chefs in the world study and perfect their craft in places such as Italy, Paris, Ireland and even Greece. I have trouble getting gas money to get around the city...How in the world am I gonna get overseas? Does this seem like the typical THOUGHT process for many youngsters to you? Can you imagine a member of today's youthful generation making comments as such? I know I can.

Sadly proven, many of our citizens, ages 11-20ish believe that there is no hope for the future and no consideration for the advancement of the people. I remember subbing one day at a Huntsville area middle school and as I was reading to the young scholars a passage that I had written. One of the students raised his hand and asked me: "Mr. Hill, why do you care about society so much? They definitely don't care about us!" Immediately I had several ideas to register in my brain. First I was impressed that the young man was able to follow the message behind my illustration. This showed that he was paying attention. Next I was intrigued to figure out what in life would make him feel that way...and of course, I was formulating a solution.

"Being lost is not the end of the world...It's only the beginning of a new destination!"

Whether it is admitted or not, teachers, parents and even the worlds most influential leaders suffer with the "No Idea How To Get There" moments. This was one for me. Of course I knew what should be said to answer his question...but would that be enough? Would he be able to interpret and apply. "We have to be able to take the circumstances and opportunities of life, gain knowledge of it's existence and importance and then discover how to implement it's purpose in our daily walk of life." At this very moment, I knew that what I said would either change his life, go in one ear and out the other or completely solidify the reason why he had the predetermined position on society that he had.

Sometimes when I observe the mannerisms of our international society I too feel like I have "No Idea How To Get There". It still amazes me that humans conduct friendships, business and commitments as just another something that's here on Earth versus treating such activity as something that should be cherished, honored and advanced. So many people, because of their own personal encounters, have already alleviated the concern of others. But I mean, can you really blame them. We live in a society where so much emphasis is placed on the growth of our own individual ideologies that we seem to forget our purpose to contribute to the lives of our fellow man.

One of my favorite forms of music is choral gospel. From the words, the message, delivery, style of music and of course the feeling that is created...their is nothing less than amazing about this musical entity. One who is able to connect both mentally and spiritually will find movements in their life, never expected nor anticipated. But we must always remember that when this music is performed, that is then the culmination of proper preparation. Someone wrote the music, someone taught and rehearsed the music and of course someone had to sing and play it. Musicians know how difficult learning music can be at the beginning...and for pieces that are advanced in caliber, it can be quite frustrating trying to master the music. When this happens, focus becomes disrupted and various snow ball effects that aren't too positive begin to occur. How do you manage?

Even though I probably shouldn't have, based on the new laws of the school system, I told the young man and the rest of his class about Jesus Christ that day while I was subbing. Why should he have cared about society? Why should he have wanted to give his all, for people who had no concerns of giving anything? Why should he, having all power at his reach, allow the simple minded people of the world to determine his fate? Why should he tolerate being treated with such disgrace, knowing how pure and holy he and his purpose was? Why...because that's the right thing to do. Jesus took the time to know the hearts of the people. Jesus took the time to embrace his enemies not detour them. And Jesus, most importantly, took the time to understand his walk must be centered by the will of God!

That day all of the students in class were touched, did their work, participated in class activities and told me how they would go about interacting more positively in society. There is so much in your life that can be done, you just have to plan, pray and declare. I challenge you to do this: 1). Take time and think about all the things that are important in your life. Map out the things that you want to see done in your life as well the things that you want to be done with. Create a chronological time table of goals to be accomplished. 2). Thank God for everything he has, is and will do for you DAILY! Pray that God will guide you to walk into your role of fulfilling his will, that it may be done. Pray that God give you the strength and ability to obscure obstacles and temptations. Pray that God will help you to remain humble and selfless. 3). DECLARE AND SPEAK INTO EXISTENCE THE POWERFUL WORLD CHANGING DESIRES THAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR HEART FOR YOUR LIFE! For those who do not know, the tongue is the most powerful instrument on your body. It holds the power of life and death and certainly the power of manifestation.

It doesn't matter if you have a clue at all how you are going to complete whatever task that you wish to finish. What matters is you have a plan and that you believe. Any and everything is possible. Daily THOUGHT #80 "1612"

"By being able to see 2 things in 1 you learn the concept of how we should truly think in life!"

Let me start by saying: Thank God it's Friday. My people we have made it to yet another weekend. Doesn't that just make you feel a certain type of way! Even when I don't have anything planned, I get pumped up and excited about the weeks end, simply because it's me time. There is time to go somewhere exciting or just chill with friends (Friday nights of course). There is time designated to relax (Saturday mornings...must recuperate from Friday night!) and there is time to reflect on how great God is in my life (Sunday...My life feels incomplete when I miss church). But enough about me. How are you? Are things well in your life? I sure hope so. If they aren't make some changes...simple!,

This morning when I woke up, I had a desire to read. Now this is not something that is new or surprising to me, it's just the fact that it was the first objective on my brain. I rarely wake up wanting to read, it's a feeling that just comes along sporadically as the day passes by. I love reading though, so of course I jumped right in on this intuition (Side Note: So many times in life, ideas come to our mind that may seem simple or unimportant, but in actuality these ideas are indeed the stepping stones towards something magnificent. You have to act on the idea first or you will never know!) I began reading this book that I purchased from the Salvation Army, "Americas Dates With Destiny" by Pat Robertson. Now for my true readers out there, be sure you stop by the Salvation Army, they seem to have great libraries.

From what I have read thus far, the author is bent on making sure the reader understands the true foundation of our nation, it's principles and what we will have to do in order to get back on track in the near future. It was amazing to me as I read the introduction and first two chapters, how centered our nation was on God and the teachings of Jesus Christ at one time. (the original reason for our forefathers coming over here was to spread the good Gospel, if you weren't aware.) But as time passed and people begin to think with their own motives and agendas versus the outright progression and equality of all people, this affiliation with religion as a part of our life began to dwindle. Not saying that I believe all things should be centered around religion, but all things should give reference to God!

As I began reading the section dedicated to the establishment of the American public schools and collegiate education systems, I was amazed at the monumental events that occurred year after year, both positive and negative, in the efforts of teaching our youth. We must keep in mind, that the land is new to us, we still have to share it with the Native Americans (Indians) and we solely rely on fiscal assistance from England. Most simple minded people would think that's all bad. But in actuality it was opportunity for individuals to leave marks, create traditions and make a difference.

One particular moment really caught my attention and it was ironic seeing what day of the week it is. No not the fact that today is Friday, again, but the fact that today is January 6, 2012 (1/6/12). This is where I got the idea to do my blog today. 1612 was a very important year for American Education. The first adopted definition of American Education was illustrated in a paper published in England entitled "New Life of Virginia". The reporter wrote "Take their children (Indians/Settlers) and train them up with gentleness, teach them our English tongue and the principles of religion." This made education as self explanatory as possible. Learn to do and act right amongst your fellow man, understand the grammar and tongue of your people and know that God should be the head of your life. Just imagine if we remained loyal and consistent to the original doctrines of our land....World might be a better place.

Also in 1612 the first surviving fundraising letter was written by Parson Whitaker and published in England by the Virgina Company. Now what in the world would he have been trying to raise money for you ask? Simply to educate the Americans (of course it wasn't called America then, but the people of the land were of the American soil, the New World.) Amazingly King James I was all for the idea of educating the people and provided his faithful support with acres upon acres of land and several well qualified men to get the job done. Unfortunately Reverend Whitaker drowned before he could see his vision and dream realized. Why was this? Who knows...but it was a sign, because a few years later, right in the midst of building Henrico College, it was abducted by the Indians, making Harvard the first college in America (1636).

As we move forward into the election year, we need to keep in mind, the doctrines that people propose and the people who are supportive of the listed ideas in these various doctrines. So many times good people will have their ideas corrupted by bad folk, not even knowing what's going on...where also in some situations we will find individuals who profess that they will do things one way and in actually have other plans in mind, gotta win the people first though right? Right...Take time and be thankful for those who have your best interest at heart and be mindful of those who may seem to be that way. Never get so caught up in your own beliefs that you forget to acknowledge the one whom all should believe in, God! Having a spirit to work alongside others and love even your enemies will lead you a long way. Embracing that very spirit will change the world! Have a great weekend my people. Daily THOUGHT #79 "Your Righteous Mind"

"We must embrace our Righteous Mind and release our natural being!"

Hello there my people! How are you? I am doing well, blessed and highly favored in the Lord! Doesn't that just read like a wonderful introduction? I would think so...but not because of the wording, but because of the concept. I got life, so I am blessed. I have a vision, that with faith I know will one day be seen by the masses, that's favor. Today I want to discuss with you some of the things that are obvious, which we should recognize and speak on. I will also bring to light, somethings that aren't as apparent. "Though things may not appear in full focus, we still must be able to understand what is of our best interest and what is not."


"Our daily walks in life are designed to bring us closer to something that we possibly can feel to be there, but in natural actuality have no evidence of this being true." Each day we go out with realistic tasks to complete, not realizing that there is so much more for us to observe and take into account for. Each of us have been blessed with various talents and abilities, that if nurtured and tended to correctly, would bring about manifestation in our earthly being that would be indescribable. How is that you ask? Because it is unimaginable...How in the world do YOU plan to tell me something about something you nor I have a clue on?....I'll wait for replies.

Our mind is such a futile being or muscle if you may. I much rather call it a muscle, because we can understand the meaning better when we do so. See a muscle, will have the tendency to ache, as well be very relaxed. With consistent and proper working, the muscle will expand and become stronger. We must learn to do this with our mental process of thinking. We must become stronger, so that we will be able to face whatever challenges may come our way. If your muscle is weak, when you are faced with a tribulation that may SEEM to be overbearing, you will give in and allow it to control the demeanor of your actions. When this is done all hell has broke loose!

How do we control those all hell moments? How are we supposed to be able to deal with the temptations that will lead us into wrong doings of our fellow man? How do we stand front and face the adversaries that wish to keep us prisoners from mental stability and reasoning? Simple, by tapping into "Your Righteous Mind". Anyone who knows the word of God knows that even the righteous shall face affliction. Look it up if you don't believe me. So why wouldn't an ole regular, non-righteous thinking people like us not face the same thing? Tests in school are only a minute parallel to the true tests that we are faced with daily. "Whether it be financial, occupational, educational, family, home, religious or friend related...we face tests that will make us depend on our Righteous Mind or our natural being." The choice is yours.

But wouldn't you rather not have to worry about things? Wouldn't life be so much easier if we could just know what was next...what was out there for us....what decisions will be great for us and those that well set us back far in life? Well I am here to inform you, that you can. That's nothing! You just have to have the will power to break your strong hold on your natural being. As I have stated so many times in blogs..."Every THOUGHT has and action and every action has a reaction." We must be able to tap into knowing what is the right action once the THOUGHT is placed.

What we think of and what we imagine is based on what the dominating atmospheric presence is. What you are dealing with is what you are surrounded by. Now don't misunderstand me here. This doesn't mean that since you are surrounded by your covers and TV, that this is where your knowledge comes from...but it does mean that what you view on TV, how long you stay in the bed, the emotions that you are encountering at home, vibes at the workplace, that yearning for a life partner (momentary or lasting) has an effect on what you think, which leads to what you do. When you are able to view the little things, you will jump those hurdles, which will leave you clear lane to run the rest of the race.

Now for those who are still a little unsure about how things work in the world...I am not saying that you have to be some big religious figure to understand "Your Righteous Mind". You just have to be willing to believe that it exists. As humans we have the right here to do whatever we please, righteously without any question of man, but because we are unable to balance our freedom, (i.e Lucifer, Eve and Adam) we must live in a world of rules and restrictions. In order to make your own rules, you must first learn how to walk in the rules that are given. Once this is done, you can use "Your Righteous Mind" to determine if this rule is best for you and if it isn't you will be able to display factual evidence why it is not.

"Naturally we will want to presume that things will always be a certain way, simply because of sequence of events or persuasion from outside parties." Begin to think without the eye of assumption and things will become more clear for you. This is indeed a promise. Its the middle of the week, so recap all that you have done thus far. Are you completing your objectives? Have you prepared yourself for the weekend? Get things in order. I wish you well in your endeavors. Please pray for my wisdom and understanding.
